Lorry leaking fuel, A446, Wishaw – One appliance in attendance

At 0433hrs on 12th September 2017 an emergency call was received by Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service’s Emergency Control Room to a large leak of diesel on the A446, Wishaw . One fire engine from Coleshill and the Environmental Protection Unit from Alcester were mobilised. Upon arrival, the fire fighters established that approximately 300 litres of diesel had leaked from an HGV. Crews dammed spillage and assisted Highways Agency.
