Advice Regarding Garden Fires

Message from Warwickshire Fire & Rescue Team Regarding Garden Fires:

The crew from Stratford were called to a garden fire last night in Bearley.  On arrival crews found a large fire, which although was being watched, was too big and had the potential to get out of control. A decision was made to extinguish the fire to stop further fire spread.
In this dry weather garden fires can easily get out of control and can spread to trees, bushes and worst still your home. So why take the risk? The best advice we can give at the moment is for you not to have one at all.
