Horse Rescued by Fire Service in Ryton on Dunsmore

At 10.04 hrs on 27/8/18, Warwickshire Fire control received a call to a horse that was unable to get out of the river in Leamington Road, Ryton on Dunsmore.  The large animal rescue unit from Rugby and a fire engine from Leamington were mobilised.  Firefighters released the horse using animal rescue equipment.  A vet was also in attendance.

Great result and so lucky to have this team of professionals in our county.
