Incidents Reported in Tanworth
*Suspicious Circumstances. Forde Hall Lane, Tanworth. Two men seen at the rear of premises have run off when seen by a member of the public. They have got into a dark coloured VW Golf and have driven off at speed. The last three letters of the registration number were ‘RVP’. Full details passed to police. No offences disclosed at the time. 5.10pm Saturday 25th August. 0305 25/08/2018
• *Attempt Burglary Residential. Blind Lane, Tanworth. Resident heard noises outside of property. On looking out saw two men trying to pull open a window. The men ran off when they realised they were being watched. 11.40pm Friday 24th August. Reported on the 25th. 0272 25/08/2018 •
*Burglary Residential. Broad Lane, Tanworth. Offender(s) have forced entry into house through rear doors. Car keys were stolen. Subsequently a Mercedes GLE from the address was also taken. 8pm Thursday 23rd August. 0111 24/08/2018. The Mercedes was found in the Yardley Wood area of Birmingham by West Midlands Police. • *
Attempt Burglary Residential. Poolhead Lane, Tanworth. A Black Land Rover Discovery has driven across the grass on the front garden of house up to the gates to the driveway. Possibly the vehicle has then tried to force open the gates and the alarm has been activated. At which point the vehicle drives off. The driver was wearing dark coloured clothing and had their face covered. The vehicle also had tinted windows. 2.35pm Wednesday 22nd August. 0231 22/08/2018
*Vehicle Crime. Blind Lane, Tanworth. Citroen Relay works van entered and various tools stolen. Sunday 19th August. 0192 22/08/2018 • *Damage. Ramshill Lane, Tanworth. Lock cut off secure gate to farm premises. Nothing stolen from the farm, although items were left at the scene that corresponded to a theft of a vehicle in a neighbouring area. Between 3pm and 7pm Tuesday 21st August. 0381 21/08/2018 •
