Drugs and Firearms Seized From Farm Land at Braunston

Officers from Warwickshire Police are investigating after drugs and firearms were seized from a trailer on farmland near to Braunston on the border between Warwickshire and Northampton.
The class A drugs, a number of short and long barrelled guns, and ammunition were seized on Friday (14 September).
Police investigations are ongoing. Anyone with information that could help police with their enquiries can call 101. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity on 0800 555 111.

Protect is a campaign being run by West Mercia Police and Warwickshire Police alongside a range of partner agencies to tackle serious and organised crime (SOC).
The broad-ranging operation covers four key areas of activity:
Pursue – prosecuting and disrupting those involved in SOC.
Prevent – stopping individuals from becoming involved in SOC.
Protect – increased levels of protection against SOC.
Prepare – reducing the impact of SOC where it occurs.
