Horse Rescued From Swimming Pool in Stretton on Dunsmore

Crews from Leamington and the Large Animal Rescue Team from Rugby were called to rescue a horse from a swimming pool yesterday.
On arrival, crews found that Wombie, a 6 year old horse had accidentally stumbled into the swimming pool at a property in Stretton on Dunsmore.
Due to the cold water and the risk of hyperthermia, crews worked quickly to get the horse out. Once out, Wombie was checked over by the vet and was thankfully none the worse for her ordeal.
Fantastic work by the crews, so lucky to have them in our county and glad Wombie is ok.
