ALCESTER

Damage. Moorfields Road car park, Alcester. Fence and posts at the side of the public toilets damaged. It appears that the offender(s) have used a shopping trolley to cause the damage. Overnight 24th & 25th November. 0090 25/11/2018

Theft. Shop, High Street, Alcester. Woman shoplifter stopped by shop staff and kept at the premises until police arrival. 2.40pm Saturday 24th November. 0245 24/11/2018

Suspicious Circumstances. Shop, Hopkins Precinct, Alcester. Two boys (aged about 12) have entered the shop and have tried to pay for items with a £50 that the staff considered to be a fake. The boys have then also tried to take scratch cards from the till area. The boys have the left on foot towards Captains Hill. 9.45pm Wednesday 21st November. 0387 21/11/2018

Theft. Takeaway, Hopkins Precinct, Alcester. Two boys have entered the takeaway and have tried to pay using £20 notes. The staff considered this to be fake. Before the boys left the ‘Tip box’ which was on the counter of the shop also went missing. 9.20pm Wednesday 21st November. 0381 21/11/2018

Suspicious Circumstances / Fraud. Shop, Hopkins Precinct, Alcester. A man has tried to use a £50 and then £20 notes to pay for goods. The staff considered these to be fake. The man became aggressive and left with the goods and the change given. About an hour later two boys have gone into the store and tried to use £20 notes to pay for goods but were turned away as these notes were also considered to be fake. 6.20pm Wednesday 21st November. 0351 21/11/2018

Attempt Fraud. Chantry Crescent, Alcester. Resident received a phone call from two men purporting to be police officers dealing with a fraud on the residents bank account. These men asked several personal questions, especially about the bank account and how much money was in there etc. The men instructed the resident to go to the bank to sort out. No offences were disclosed at the time. Advice given regarding further calls. Wednesday 21st November. 0331 21/11/2018

Vehicle Crime – Theft of. Car sales business, Tything Road, Arden Forest Industrial Estate. Offender(s) have forced open security gates, moved a vehicle then have stolen a Silver Ford Transit. Overnight 17th & 18th November. 0211 18/11/2018
