Warwickshire Police Appeal Following Fatal Collision on Motorway

Warwickshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision on the M42 in the early hours of this morning (9/1/19).

At around 2.45am, police were informed a pedestrian had been hit by a black Scania lorry on the northbound carriageway between junctions 10 and 11.  Sadly, the pedestrian, a man believed to be in his twenties, died as a result of the collision.

Road closures were in place whilst emergency services were in attendance. Both carriageways were fully reopened by around 11.45am this morning.
