Arrest Following Van Stopped By OPU Officers

Warwickshire Police OPU stopped this van on the South Warwickshire and Coventry Border using TPAC tactics.  The van had been involved in a theft of a vehicle from Warwick on 3rd Jan 2019 and also failed to stop for West Midlands Police on 13th Jan 2019.  Both occupants were arrested from the van and are now in custody.  Officers also recovered a large machete from the drivers door and an open stanley knife next to the steering wheel.  The van has been recovered as part of the investigation.  Incident log 430 16/01/2019 refers.
