Suspicious Vehicle Stopped With Trailer and Tools

This vehicle was spotted by Warwickshire OPU officers on the A445 between Leamington and Ryton last night, towing a trailer at speed.  When officers turned to stop the vehicle for a check the driver and passenger dumped the car and trailer and made off.  Despite a search with officers and a dog unit they couldn’t be located.  The car and trailer have been recovered suspect stolen.   The trailer was full of suspected stolen generators and petrol power tools.
