Operation Tramline Ran By Officers This Week

Earlier this week Warwickshire OPU ran Operation Tramline. Using an unmarked HGV tractor unit provided by Highways England and suppprted by unmarked cars we conducted patrols across the Warwickshire Motorway Network.
Officers using a hand held video camera inside the Tractor Unit were able to identify and record dangerous commercial vehicle driver behaviour.
In Total we dealt with 124 offences including drivers failing to wear a seatbelt, using mobile phones whilst driving, No Insurance and the arrest of a Wanted person.
