Appeal to Identify Men in Connection with Burglaries in Nuneaton and Rugby Areas

Detectives have released CCTV footage of three men they wish to speak to following a series of burglaries in the Nuneaton and Rugby areas.

 They have also released a photo of a silver three door mini cooper believed to have been used by the burglars.

The seven incidents occurred on 7 May.

In one incident in Nuneaton, a man distracted a 90-year-old man while another man went in and searched his house.

In another incident near Nuneaton, offenders carried out an attempted distraction burglary at the house of a disabled 86-year-old woman. They searched the house but left empty handed.

The other offences occurred in Broadwell, Rugby, Monks Kirby and Burton Hastings.

Detective Sergeant Heidi Twynham from the Rugby Offender Management Unit said: “The offenders took advantage of vulnerable people in their own homes, somewhere that should be their place of safety.

“We’re keen to speak to the men in these images as they may have information vital to our enquiries. If you can provide any information that could assist our investigation, please get in touch as soon as possible.”
