Bogus Caller Reported in Cubbington
On the 27th May 2019 an elderly resident in Cubbington received a phone call from a male stating that they were coming around the following day to check out the residents loft.
Local officers advise that there have been a few reports of this nature in the area in the last two months.
If you have received calls of this nature officers advise that this may be a scam and be aware a possibility to take the opportunity to commit a distraction burglary. Please call 101 and report these calls to the Police and Trading Standards. Please advise elderly and vulnerable friends and family to be aware and do not let anyone into their home who they are not expecting or do not know.
