Male Arrested in Atherstone

A male has been arrested on Queens Road, Atherstone for the possession of a pointed or bladed article in a public place. This is following a traffic stop by North Warwickshire Police Safer Neighbourhoods Team, that resulted in a stop and search. The male resisted officers and had to be restrained. On the search being conducted a hunting knife 25cm in length was found on his person.
