Did You See An Aggravated Burglary in Galley Common?

Were you on School Lane in Galley Common around 11.15pm on Friday (13 December)?
We are appealing for witnesses to an aggravated burglary and would like to hear from people who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area.
Four unknown men wearing masks are reported to have entered a property before threatening the occupants. A quantity of jewellery and cash was removed.
The victim – a man in his 40s – was struck to the back of his head with an unknown object while the men are also reported to have damaged mobile phones.
A woman in her 40s and a teenager were uninjured but left shaken by the incident.
The men – who left in an unknown direction – are described as wearing black or blue hoodies.
Detective Constable Lucy Whatmore said: “Enquiries are currently ongoing and we are keen for anyone who saw the incident to come forward.
“We would also ask for anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or who has information, which would help with enquiries to please get in touch.
“Any information, no matter how small, could be important in our investigation.”
