Urgent Appeal to Trace Missing Pensioner Brian Hicks

Have you seen Brian Hicks? The 83-year-old went missing from his Coventry home on Sunday (5 January).

Brian has never been missing before. Both his family and officers are extremely concerned for his welfare as this is out of character for him.

Brian Hicks
Brian Hicks went missing from his Coventry home on Sunday.

He is believed to be in his gun metal grey Vauxhall Viva, registration BP16 YFV. The car was last seen on the A426 off the M6 at J1, Rugby just before 1am on Monday. This was the last sighting of both Brian and the car.

On the afternoon of 9 January his family launched an emotional appeal for information as part of a desperate bid to trace him.

They believe the key to finding Brian is the Vauxhall Viva, and are asking for members of the public to keep an eye out for it. It could be in a lay-by, or a service station car park.

Investigating officers are keen to hear from anyone who has seen the car or Brian himself in the time since he was reported missing.
