Theft From Allotments in Kenilworth

Residents are advised to remain vigilant for suspicious activity following a series of burglaries that led to fourteen allotment sheds being broken into with the contents rifled at Gypsy Lane, Kenilworth . The offences took place between 1800hrs on Thursday 23 April and 08.30hrs on Saturday 25 April 2020.

The main items stolen have been gardening power tools including a four-stroke petrol rotovator, a two-stroke petrol strimmer, some ‘Makita” hand power tools and other garden implements and tools including a spring-loaded spade.

There were other items taken from the sheds but that were subsequently left at, or near, to the scene. It’s believed that offenders entered the allotments from fields at the rear, and a vehicle was used to cross the fields to the allotments.
