Alert to Scams
Criminals may pose as travel companies or airlines, attempting to use the cancellation of holidays and flights as an opportunity to contact you with fake flight refund forms.
Fraudulent emails, text messages or social media posts often contain links designed to obtain your personal and financial information.
Always contact the organisation you have made your booking with directly to enquire about any refunds.
If you think you’ve fallen for a scam, contact your bank immediately on a number you know to be correct, such as the one listed on the back of your debit or credit card.
