Webinar – Labour abuse: An insight into potential exploitation taking place on your doorstep

Labour exploitation is the most common type of abuse reported in the UK. This ranges from underpayment of basic pay; unsafe working conditions; through to forced labour, servitude and slavery.

The Skills and Education Group is running a free online webinar introducing to the Gangmaster and Labour Abuse Authority’s (GLAA) role and their aim in raising awareness of modern slavery issues and labour exploitation in the UK.

Speakers will be Franks Hanson from Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority and Kaley Boothby from Boston College UK.
