Warwickshire Police are investigating after a woman in her 90s from North Warwickshire almost fell victim to a rogue trader scam. The suspect approached the woman and agreed to cut her hedge for £60. When he finished he demanded £2000 and stood over her until she wrote the cheque.
Fortunately the woman quickly contacted the bank who cancelled the cheque.
