Celebrating Safely This Autumn

As we move into Autumn there are a number of celebrations to be marked, including Halloween, Bonfire Night, Remembrance Sunday and Diwali.

We understand how important these events are to the community so Warwickshire Police, alongside with Warwickshire County Council and Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service, we would like to encourage residents to find new ways to celebrate safely and in line with current COVID-19 guidance, in order to do the right thing for Warwickshire.

Please also consider livestock and horses if you are considering having fireworks.  If you have animals in fields, stables or outbuildings near to you please contact the owner and give them notice so that they can take precautions if they can.  Direct fireworks away from any location of animals or buildings and be safe.

Watch this video from Dr Shade Agboola, Director of Public Health for Warwickshire, Group Commander Tim Sargent from Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service and ACC Debbie Tedds from Warwickshire Police to find out how you can celebrate safely this year.
