Car Seized by Rural Crime Team

As part of the work by the Rural Crime Team in Barnacle and Bulkington, covered by our officers PC PC Craig Purcell and PC Jenny May-Royle a car was seized this week.  The car being driven had enough mud and grass underneath it to catch the officers interest with local farmers reporting crop damage from vehicles.
The vehicle was found to be uninsured, driven by a provisional licence holder who they had already stopped recently for the same offences. The car was again seized and could go the same route as the last one that was crushed.
The driver was reported for offences and with the last time bringing 6 points to his provisional licence he now faces a court appearance with likely disqualification from driving through totting up of points.
