Vehicles Recovered by Rural Crime Team

Following the theft at a farm in Tysoe, South Warwickshire where a VW Amorok,

Kubota UK, ATV, horse trailer and tack was stolen, the Rural Crime Team came on duty and noticed that we were still waiting for tracker data from the tracker fitted to the vehicle stolen from the location.   The team have contacts with most major tracking companies so obtained the data and found that the vehicle was still pinging in a residential street in Evesham, Worcestershire.
The vehicle was found secured and undamaged and wasrecovered for forensic analysis.  The officer  requested full maps showing the route the tracker had taken and noticed that it stopped for a few minutes on the edge of a secluded field near to South Littleton.
The Rural Team searched the area near to where it had pinged and found and recovered the horse trailer with the ATV in the back and most of the tack, hidden in a barn along an off road track.
The Rural Team have since conducted further enquiries including witness and CCTV and hope to now target the suspects believed to be involved.
This again just goes to show how important trackers really are if the worst happens. The data can be used to both recover property but also if the data is given live, a high chance of intercepting the offenders after they have left. They can be fitted to pretty much anything including your regular day to day vehicles, off road working vehicles and high value power tools.
