Stolen Quad Bike Recovered

In the early hours of the morning on the 13th January 2021, a Yamaha Grizzly quad bike worth £10,000 was stolen from a farm near Shipston on Stour.
Warwickshire Police also received a call from a member of public from a neighbouring village in the early hours of the morning reporting suspicious activity whereby a quad bike was seen to be driven at speed through the village.
The Rural Crime Team, working with the  local policing team at Shipston Police Safer Neighbourhood Team promptly picked up both reports. A short time later officers recovered the stolen quad bike pictured below at land over the border in Worcestershire.
The quad bike has been seized and recovered for forensic analysis to be carried out and the owner has been informed.
Enquiries in relation to this are ongoing in the hope to identifying any suspects for this theft.
The Police appreciate any reports of suspicious activity and will always look to follow them up as best we can. Information from the public is vital to help with our investigations and we really appreciate you contacting us.
