Male Arrested Following Vehicle Theft
Officers arrested a man after responding to a report of a car key burglary in Shaftsbury Avenue, Keresley End in the early hours of the morning on the 20th January. They located the stolen car a short time later in Ash Green and following a short pursuit the car stopped and the suspect was arrested. One of the officers reported the suspect attempting to bite him during the incident.
A 29-year-old man from Nuneaton was arrested on suspicion of burglary, theft of motor vehicle, assaulting an emergency worker, drink driving and failing to stop.
