Rural Crime Team Specials Arrest Male in Wishaw

Whilst out patrolling in the villages and rural areas in North Warwickshire, the Special Constables from the Rural Crime Team arrested a male on Thursday 25th February for possession with intent to supply a class B drug (cannabis) after he ran off from officers in Wishaw.

Two quad bikes, a motorcycle and a car also left the scene, the latter of which drove at a police officer and ran over his foot.
A mobile phone was left at the scene, along with a motorcycle – if either belong to you then please do get in touch, we’d love to hear from you.
Special Constables are unpaid volunteers and wear the same uniform and exercise the same powers as their regular counterparts.
