Road Safety Week Winner Announced – Congratulations

As part of Road Safety Week in November 2020, officers from Coleshill local policing team challenged pupils at schools in their local area to design a poster around the topics of parking near schools and road safety. Coleshill SNT and

Warwickshire County Council Road Safety Education and Active Travel had the very hard task of picking a winner from each of the participating schools and an overall winner.
Our winner from Wood End Primary School, and our overall winner was Maisie who’s brilliant design will be turned in to posters to be displayed in all of the schools in the area. We loved Maisie’s poster as it was bright and noticeable whilst getting the message across.
Maisie won a fantastic prize of a 55″ TV, kindly donated by Sainsbury’s. Maisie normally walks to and from school but we think she might need a lift to get her prize home!
Thank you to all of the children from all of the schools that participated. We loved seeing all of the wonderful designs and it was great to see that the children had really taken the road safety message on board.
