Reports Received of Hare Coursers and Poachers in North Warwickshire Area

We have had reports of poachers and hare coursers in the Polesworth/Warton/Shuttington/Alvecote area of North Warwickshire.

If you see someone in a field, especially if they have lurcher type dogs, that you do not believe should not be there or torches in a field that could be suspicious please call the police.

If you see a vehicle that may be related to possible poachers or hare coursers and it is safe for you to do so, please take the registration, colour, make and model of the vehicle or take a photo and report it to the police as soon as possible.

Warwickshire Police are part of Operation Gallileo addressing hare coursing and will take action against anyone caught committing this offence.
