Witness Appeal to Incident in Priory Park, Warwick

Yesterday afternoon (Wed 26/5/21) at approximately 16.40 hrs officers from Warwickshire Police responded to a report of a male allegedly mistreating an animal in Priory Park, Warwick.
A male was arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty shortly after and three dogs were seized by Police while the investigation is conducted.
Officers from the Rural Crime Team assisted colleagues by arranging and transporting the dogs to a vets to be checked over.
We would like to hear from anyone that witnessed the incident and might be able to help with the investigation.

Regardless of the investigation result, none of the dogs will be considered for euthanasia.
