Incident in Wood End

Yesterday evening Warwickshire Police dealt with an attempted illegal encampment at a park on Johnson St, Wood End.

Caravans and occupants were trying to illegally gain access to the land and one person has been arrested for criminal damage by officers to the gate.

Officers were assisted by the community and are continuing to monitor the site but the location has now been re secured.

The council are also aware.
