Suspicious Incident Reported

Farms, smallholdings and people with large outbuildings in the Kenilworth, Warwick Rural East and Rural West areas are advised to remain vigilant at all times.

The advice is issued following an incident in the Kenilworth area where reports were received of up to four males ‘scouting’ farm buildings and showing an interest in parked vehicles including farm machinery but also storage caravans. The incident took place between 2300hrs and midnight on Saturday 3 July 2021. The individuals were also witnessed looking into sheds where machinery is kept.

The individuals were in a blue Hyundai motor vehicle.

Please keep a close eye out for suspicious vehicles, particularly driving around on private property and report anything you consider to be suspicious to Warwickshire Police on 101 or online at www.warwickshire.police.uk.  If you believe a crime is actually taking place then dial 999.
