Warwickshire Police Appeal – Can You Help?

Police are issuing a witness appeal after a pedestrian died after a double decker bus collided with him on the Coventry-bound side of the A45 Birmingham Road near to Stonebridge Island.
Despite the efforts of police officers and paramedics the 37-year-old man was declared dead at the scene. His family has been informed.
The incident occurred at around 3.40am today (Tuesday 31 August).
An investigation is under way to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
Inspector Mick Huntley from Warwickshire Police said: “We’re appealing for any road users in the area at the time of the incident to contact us. Did you see the man or the bus prior to the collision? Any small piece of information may help our enquiries.
“In particular, we would ask motorists with dash cams to check their footage as they could have captured footage that could assist us.”
