Have your say on contacting Warwickshire Police

A survey has been launched to help inform our understanding of how the public wish to contact and engage with the force.

The survey has been commissioned by Warwickshire Police and is open to anyone who lives or works in the county.

Those taking part in the survey do not need to have ever contacted the force before, but will be asked how they would want to contact us if they ever needed to do so. This will help to inform how we improve our services in the future.

The main ways that the public can currently contact Warwickshire Police (other than by calling 999 in an emergency) are via the force website, by calling 101 or by attending one of the four front counters located at Leamington and Nuneaton Justice Centres and Rugby and Stratford police stations.

The questions asked are specifically in relation to Warwickshire Police and not about the police generally. The results of the survey will be anonymised, meaning no personal details will be linked to any responses.

The survey can be accessed here and takes less than 15 minutes to complete. It will be available to access until the end of October.

Assistant Chief Constable Ben Smith said: “As a force, we are absolutely committed to delivering an effective and appropriate response to all requests for service from the public, and we are continually seeking ways to improve the experience for those who need to contact us.

“We are keen to understand the views of the public and those that interact with the police to help us to adapt and improve our services.

“We would really appreciate everyone’s input into this survey, in order that we can gather the widest possible spectrum of views from our communities. Whether you’ve spoken to us multiple times or never before, we would be interested to hear your views.”

Please do not use the survey to report incidents, crimes or concerns. Details of how to contact your local police can be found via www.warwickshire.police.uk. In an emergency, always dial 999.
