Two People Arrested Following Reports of Burglaries
Two people were arrested over the last few of days after officers responded to reports of burglaries in progress.
A 25-year-old man from Nuneaton was arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary after officers responded to a report of someone trying to break in to a business premises in Ansley Road in the early hours of Saturday morning. Enquiries are ongoing into this incident. The suspect was detained on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court.
A 31-year-old man from Atherstone was arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary by officers investigating a report of an attempted break in at a business premises in Sheepy Road, Atherstone yesterday afternoon. He remains in custody.
