Four People Arrested
The suspect seen in this image is one member of a group travelling around the local area trying car/van door handles in the early hours of the morning. So far, they have been seen in Atherstone and Polesworth.This image was taken in Repington Avenue, Atherstone at 03:41 hrs 03/11/2022. Linked to 23/47769/22, theft of motor vehicle.
The offences were linked the offences to this stolen Ford Fiesta which was on cloned plates and failed to stop for officers on the A46.
The vehicle was abandoned in Hatton but with the assistance of the helicopter and a police dog four people were arrested nearby.
Discarded items in a bin were seized.
The vehicle has been seized and will be returned to its owner in due course.
