Male Jailed After Pleading Guilty to 27 Breaches of a Criminal Behaviour Order

Jacob Porter from Nuneaton has been jailed for 16 weeks after pleading guilty to 27 breaches of a criminal behaviour order put in place after he was previously convicted of shoplifting in Atherstone.
Sergeant Adam Skelsey from Atherstone Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “Porter is a prolific and persistent offender who has shown no regard for the terms of the Criminal Behaviour Order.
“His behaviour has continued to have a negative impact on the local community and businesses and we will not tolerate this.
“We remain committed to tackling those who come into our town centre to commit crime.
“Anyone breaching a Criminal Behaviour Order can expect to be put back before the court and could face a maximum of five years in prison.”
Porter will remain subject to the Criminal Behaviour Order upon his release from prison and any breaches can be reported to police at www.warwickshire.police.uk/report or by calling 101.
