Arrest in Bulkington
A man was arrested after a van failed to stop for officers and collided with a police car in Bulkington yesterday morning.
Officers tried to stop the van in Shilton Lane when it fled the scene colliding with the police car in the process. An officer suffered minor injuries in the collision.
It was stopped a short time later in New Street where the driver – a 35-year-old man from Coventry – was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop and assaulting an emergency worker.
