Stolen Horse Trailer Recovered by Rural Crime Team
RCT officers came across this horse trailer abandoned near Cleeve Prior.It was checked for all the usual property registers including Datatag ID Limited & The Equipment Register – TER, but unfortunately no record of an owner or police report could be found.
We then spotted a little service sticker on the inside, after a whole 8 seconds of googling we managed to contact the owner of the trailer.
The trailer was confirmed as stolen from just over the border in Worcestershire, a few days earlier.
Although this trailer didn’t have a tracker fitted, we highly recommend fitting one to give you that extra piece of mind.
It’s also imperative that you record the vin number of the trailer and register your details against that vin with a company like TER.
