Warning – Be Water Aware

Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service are warning of the dangers of water.

In the hot weather rivers, lakes, etc may seem very inviting to cool down but can be dangerous and hazardous.

Even on a warm day the water can be cold and if jumping in can lead to cold water shock, which could lead to drowning.

Hidden hazards below the surface and strong currents are also a major concern.
