Livestock Worrying Alert – Over Whitacre

Incident 282 of 21/8/24

During Wednesday 21st August, a flock of sheep were attacked by 2 dark coloured dogs in the Over Whitacre area.

7 ewes and 2 lambs were found dead in the field with a number of others injured and severely stressed, it is not known how long these dogs had been in the field chasing and attacking the sheep.

Sadly due to the stress a further 2 ewes have died over night.
