Great Work by the Local Policing Teams in Coleshill & Atherstone

Coleshill & Atherstone Police - In the last 24 hours (10th /11th September)
• Drunken male causing an issue outside a property in Atherstone. Male was shouting up to the window of a property despite the owner not knowing who they were. Male subsequently left prior to police arrival.
• Reports of a property being broken into in Curdworth. Officers at the scene very quickly and detained the offender, seized a vehicle containing equipment used to commit burglary and seized a number of stolen items from the offender arrested. Enquiries ongoing.
• Officers stopped a Renault Clio on Lichfield Road, Coleshill and seized the vehicle for No Insurance, vehicle being SORN. Owner dealt with and car removed.
• Reports of a tree down, A446, Coleshill. Item removed prior to Police Arrival.
• Reports of an attempt theft from motor vehicle on the B5000 in Polesworth, offenders didn’t gain entry – offenders escaped in a vehicle.
• Reports of sheep on the A38/A446 Bassetts Pole. Officers dispatched but Staffordshire Police were already in attendance.
• Reports of youths trespassing on a building site in Kingsbury, officers attended but couldn’t find the youths. No damage to the building site.
• Officers stopped a stolen motorbike after a short pursuit, offender was arrested and bike which was stolen from Coleshill was recovered.
