Man Charged With Burglary in Atherstone

A man has appeared in court in connection with a burglary in Atherstone.

Andrew Morris, 32, of no fixed abode but residing in Bedworth, was arrested after police responded to a report of a house alarm sounding at a house in Church Walk, Atherstone on Monday (19 November) morning.

Jewellery and cash were stolen in the burglary.

Morris appeared at Warwick Magistrates’ Court this morning and was remanded to appear at Warwick Crown Court on 20 December.
