Woman Left With Serious Face Injury After Assault in Atherstone Pub
A woman in her 30s was assaulted by a man at an Atherstone pub in the early hours of Monday (6 May) morning.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the assault and violent disorder that followed the incident, which happened in the walkway leading to the toilets in Chariots Bar in Church Street at around 12.20am.
Two men from Atherstone, aged 26 and 44, were arrested on suspicion of assault. They have both been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
