Operation Brevi at Corley Services

Operational Patrol Unit B shift ran an operation at Corley Services on the M6 last Thursday. This was called Operation Brevi and resulted in the following:

• 25 vehicles brought on site.

• A HGV carrying plant was found in a dangerous condition due to insufficient load security.

• Two disqualified drivers were stopped.

• Three drivers without insurance were stopped.

• Three vehicles were seized.

• Lighting issues identified on two vehicles.

• One vehicle identified with load security and strapping issues

• One vehicle identified with excessive corrosion and an exposed cord

• One vehicle identified with excessive corrosion and insecure battery

• Two vehicles identified with excessively tinted windows

• One vehicle had incorrectly displayed number plate

• One vehicle identified for excessive weight

• Advice given for one vehicle with tyres close to the limit
