Keresley End Man Charged With Multiple Offences After Allegedly Failing To Stop For Warwickshire Police

Jake Ilsley, 26, of Hill Road, Kerelsley End has been charged with multiple offences after a car allegedly failed to stop for officers from the North Warwickshire Vehicle Crime Team in Keresley End on Monday (23 November) afternoon.

Officers report the car fled after they tried to stop it in Somers Road.

Following a short pursuit through Ash Green the car collided with a skip lorry and a short time later Ilsley was arrested. Officers report finding a child in the car following the collision.

The force has confirmed that Ilsley has been charged with failing to stop for police, failing to stop following an accident, driving without insurance, driving without a licence, dangerous driving, and child neglect. He will appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court on 12 February.

A 27-year-old woman from Keresley End was also arrested on suspicion of burglary and child cruelty. She has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
