Rural Crime Team Recover Three Stolen Caravans

The Warwickshire Rural Crime Team continue to work with Rugby Borough Council and Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council to target issues of fly tipping and criminal damage to farmland around the Barnacle area.
There are many things in action at the moment and we clearly can’t discuss specifics of ongoing investigations. However, we can reveal certain results of our pro-active work such as the recovery of three stolen caravans (pictured).
It was certainly the highlight of my week to hear the sudden tears of joy over the telephone as our officer told one owner that he was stood in front of her caravan. With no insurance she had been left almost £10,000 out of pocket.  Another owner had also not been able to secure an insurance payout and was still having to make finance payments each month for a caravan worth over £10,000 that they no longer had.
The teams work involves trying to identify specific individuals involved in offences and directing their attention towards them.
If you have any information that can assist the onging work of the team, please email ruralcrimeteam@warwickshire.pnn.police.uk in confidence.
