Can You Help re Information on Fly Tipping on Oldbury Road, Hartshill

Oldbury Road, Hartshill – Inc 262 of 29/1/21

Some time between Thursday 28th January and Friday 29th January, unknown offenders tipped large quantities of waste at the site off Oldbury Road, Hartshill.  There are a number of lorry loads tipped at the location so would have been one vehicle doing a number of journeys or more than one vehicle was involved, due to the quantity.  The offenders cut through the chain securing the gate and moved concrete blocks that had been put at the entrance.

If you saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area, may have seen vehicles coming or going down this lane or in the area and have any details that can assist the Police in their enquiries, including possible CCTV or dashcam footage, please contact us by any of the following means: online at www.warwickshire.police.uk, calling the Police on 101, ringing Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, or emailing us, in confidence, to ruralwatch@warwickshire.pnn.police.uk, referring to the incident number above.

We would also ask all landowners in the area to be aware and vigilant and secure their land to ensure vehicles can not access it.  Any vehicles with waste on that is seen tipping waste in an unauthorised area or causes concern please report to the Police.
