Police Appeal Following an Assault in Bulkington
Warwickshire Police are appealing for witnesses or information following an assault in Bulkington last night (Thursday 18 February).
At around 6.45pm, an 18-year-old woman was assaulted in the bus stop on New Street. She sustained injuries to her nose which required hospital treatment.
It’s reported the suspect had got out of a silver Uber van on New Street just before the incident.
An 18-year-old man from Coventry has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. He is currently in police custody.
This is believed to be an isolated incident.
Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have dashcam footage at this time in this area. If anyone has any information, please call 101 quoting incident number 405 of 18 February 2021.
