Vehicle Crime Arrests

Three people were arrested in connection with vehicle crime offences over the weekend.
Yesterday evening officers, including the Rural Crime Team Specials, seized a stolen caravan and arrested two people at Corley Services. The 21-year-old woman and 20-year-old man, both of no fixed abode were arrested on suspicion of theft.
A 27-year-old woman of no fixed abode was arrested on suspicion of interfering with a motor vehicle after officers received a report of a car being broken into in Wych Elm Drive, Leamington on Friday night. She was also arrested in connection with a number of other offences:
-Theft from a car in Acre Close, Leamington on 18 April
-Theft from a car in Plymouth Place, Leamington on 9 April
-Theft from a shop in Radford Road, Leamington on 23 April
-Theft from a shop in Parade, Leamington on 7 April
-Burglary in Charles Gardner Road, Leamington between 14 February and 19 April
She was later charged with two counts of theft and refusing to provide a sample for a class A drug test. She appeared at Coventry Magistrates’ Court today where she was remanded to appear at Warwickshire Magistrates’ Court on 11 June. She was bailed for the other offences while enquiries continue.
