North Warwickshire Operation Provides Good Results

Officers from Atherstone & Coleshill Police, Rural Crime Team, OPU & The Special Constabulary joined forces with West Midlands & Staffordshire Police for a joint Vehicle Crime Operation.

The Op saw over 30 officers working through the night to tackle the ongoing issue on ourselves and the surrounding areas.

Utilising marked and unmarked vehicles we targeted hotspot areas to deter and prevent offences, Visited known offenders and conducted curfew and bail checks.

Here are a few of the results from last night,

89 Vehicle PNC checks

26 Person/Driving Licence checks

3 Vehicle seizures

9 Stop Searches

2 Arrests for Theft of Motor Vehicle

1 Stolen Motorbike recovered

4 Fail to Stops

2 Road Traffic Collisions dealt with

Over 10 Emergency incidents attended

Traffic Offence Reports Submitted
